PCIM Asia Shenzhen continues to attract the support of major companies in power electronics. Mitsubishi Electric and Infineon return as Strategic Partners, while Semikron Danfoss, Fuji Electric and ROHM participate as Platinum Sponsors.
Other industry leaders taking part include CRRC, Power Integrations, Hitachi Energy, Bosch, China Resources Microelectronics, InnoScience, JieJie Microelectronics, MacMic, and Toshiba. They will showcase advanced power devices and module solutions for e-mobility, AI data centres, renewable energy, energy storage and charging, home appliances and industrial applications.
The exhibitor line-up will also include a number of new participants, such as StarPower Semiconductor, DanXi Technology, Doppler Electronic Technologies, Oriental Semiconductor, and more. Together, the exhibits will cover areas including power semiconductors, materials and packaging, passive components, power management, testing and measurement, with technologies represented from chip design and manufacturing through to system integration and end-use applications.
Specialised zones link technology exhibits with forums and research
Hall 14 will house three themed industry zones: the AIDC Power Ecosystem Zone, the Industrial Chain Display Zone – Power Electronics for E-mobility, and the Renewable Energy & Smart Energy Zone. They will focus respectively on power supply and computing power, e-mobility, and renewable and smart energy. Each will pair technology exhibits with a related forum programme, combining displays of the relevant technologies with discussion of their development and applications. An Industry-Academia-Research Collaboration Zone will complement these areas by presenting work from universities and research institutions.
Concurrent events bring global and technical perspectives
The fair’s wider concurrent programme will feature two summits, 11 theme forums and four co-organised forums. At the Global Strategy Summit and the Power Semiconductor Rising Stars Summit, contributors from leading companies and industry organisations, including EPEC, Infineon, Mitsubishi Electric, Huawei, Eaton, United Nova Technology and Yole Group, will discuss industry cycle forecasting, approaches to global markets, power semiconductor process technologies in China and full-stack solutions for AI data centres.
The theme forums will examine SiC, GaN and IGBT technologies and their use in AI data centre power supplies and new energy vehicle drive systems. Other sessions will address packaging and testing, e-mobility, solid-state circuit breakers and power electronics-dominated power systems. More than 190 technical presentations will take place over the three-day event.
PCIM Asia Shenzhen Conference to connect industry and academia
Held concurrently with the exhibition, the PCIM Asia Shenzhen Conference will draw speakers from industry and academia for 131 research presentations across three themes: “From device to system”, “From ground to low-altitude” and “From computing power to energy”.
A range of keynote speeches, special sessions, oral presentations and poster sessions will provide multiple formats for presenting research and application experience, with contributors including experts and scholars from Zhejiang University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Tsinghua University and Hefei University of Technology, as well as industry representatives from Infineon, Mitsubishi Electric, Schneider Electric and Delta. Topics will include wide-bandgap semiconductors, power devices, packaging and reliability, motor drives, new energy vehicles, smart grids, AI computing infrastructure and data centre power supplies.
The conference will also present four awards to recognise innovation and emerging talent in the sector: the Best Paper Award, sponsored by Mitsubishi Electric; the Young Engineer Award, sponsored by Semikron Danfoss; the University Scientist Award, sponsored by Infineon Technologies; and the Excellent Poster Award, sponsored by SwissSEM. The winners of each award will be announced on site.
